Job Title: Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team at ECM (Vehicle Delivery Service) Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe working environment across all areas of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain a working knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment legislation, and ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate health and safety risks and hazards in the workplace.
  • Develop and implement effective risk assessments and method statements.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Review and update emergency preparedness procedures to ensure effective response to emergencies.
  • Collaborate with employee Safety Representatives to address relevant matters.
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, or be working towards.
  • Experience in a Health & Safety role, with a strong understanding of root cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel when required.
