Personal Assistant for Physically Disabled Individual

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Assistant to support a physically disabled Biology graduate in living as independently as possible.
Main Responsibilities:
- Meal preparation and medication administration
- Application of braces to several joints and personal care
- Enabling the employer to participate in daily life, including social activities and hospital appointments
Requirements:
- Close personal contact with an individual vulnerable to infection and disease transmission
- Full clean driving licence
- Non-smoker due to medical reasons and life-threatening allergy to cigarette smoke
- Reliable, trustworthy, and professional attitude
Contract Details:
Permanent contract with 36 hours per week, including rolling rota with weekends and waking nights. 5.6 weeks' holiday pay pro-rata.

Applicants must be female and have prior care experience. An Enhanced certificate of Disclosure (DBS) will be obtained for successful candidates.
