We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Female Personal Assistant to join our team at Disability North. The successful candidate will provide personalized support to a physically disabled Biology graduate, enabling her to live as independently as possible.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to the employer, including meal preparation, medication administration, and application of braces.
  • Enable the employer to participate in daily life activities, such as social events, hospital appointments, and work placements.
  • Work as part of a 24hr care team with 12hr shifts, including waking overnights.
  • Ensure the employer's safety and well-being at all times.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in care work, preferably with a physically disabled individual.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and waking overnights.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and professional attitude.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Non-smoker due to medical reasons and life-threatening allergy to cigarette smoke.
Contract Details:

Permanent contract with 36 hours per week, including 12hr shifts.

5.6 weeks' holiday pay pro-rata.

Enhanced certificate of Disclosure (DBS) will be obtained for successful candidates.
