Job Title: Female Personal Assistant - MHCRAM2

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Female Personal Assistant to join our team at Disability North. The successful candidate will provide personalized support to a physically disabled Biology graduate, enabling her to live as independently as possible.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, medication administration, and personal care.
  • Enable the employer to participate in social activities, attend hospital appointments, and engage in work placements.
  • Provide close personal contact and support to the employer, who is vulnerable to infection and disease transmission.
  • Work as part of a 24hr care team, covering 12hr shifts, including waking overnights.
Requirements:
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Non-smoker due to medical reasons and life-threatening allergy to cigarette smoke.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and professional attitude.
  • Ability to follow instructions and protocols.
Contract Details:

Permanent contract with 36 hours per week, including weekends and waking nights.

5.6 weeks' holiday pay pro-rata.

Enhanced certificate of Disclosure (DBS) will be obtained for successful candidates.

References will be requested if successful at interview.
