About the Position

We are seeking an experienced ABA Assistant Teacher to join our team, who shares our passion for providing exceptional support to students with autism. Responsibilities include:

  • Organising workload for pupils and delivering teaching using ABA and PECS (where appropriate)
  • Participating in regular training and development reviews with senior leaders
  • Working in a High Dependency Unit on a 1:1 and small group basis with children diagnosed with autism

The successful candidate will be part of a professional team, taking responsibility for their own workload, and working closely with other team members to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

We offer a competitive salary range of £95-£105 per day, depending on experience. In addition, we provide full training and ongoing support to ensure the successful candidate has the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role.

Our school utilises the principles of ABA and the pyramid approach to education, providing pupils with an effective means of communication using the Picture Exchange System. We are committed to providing a personalised and differentiated curriculum that meets the individual needs of each pupil.
