Job Summary:

Cpl UK - Healthcare is seeking an experienced Autism Specialist Manager to join our team in Solihull. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our children's residential home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to the needs of children with autism.
  • Lead and manage a team of care staff, promoting a positive and supportive workplace culture.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and external agencies, ensuring collaborative care approaches.
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, ensuring the home provides a safe, therapeutic environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children's residential care setting.
  • Expertise in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, including developing person-centered care approaches.
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted requirements and relevant childcare legislation.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or working towards).
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • A passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
