POSITION: Branch Operations Leader
WORK HOURS: 44 hours per week - Permanent Position
SALARY: £27,000 basic salary
ADDITIONAL EARNINGS: Potential total earnings of up to £32,000 annually

RESPONSIBILITIES OF OUR BRANCH OPERATIONS LEADERS:

  • Lead by example and work closely with the Branch Manager on daily operations
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and support to both new and existing clients
  • Ensure operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and achievement of sales targets
  • Foster positive customer relationships while supporting sales target delivery
  • Assist in managing branch operations effectively
  • Provide support to branch colleagues as needed
  • Help the Branch Manager ensure timely completion of team tasks and activities
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations, company policies, and procedures
  • Conduct stocktakes and audits as required
  • Maintain records for branch vehicles
  • Oversee branch cleanliness in front-of-house, warehousing, and merchanting areas

QUALIFICATIONS FOR OUR BRANCH OPERATIONS LEADERS:

  • Enthusiasm and energy to provide exceptional customer service and meet business objectives
  • A hands-on, customer-focused approach, with confidence in engaging with customers
  • A commercial mindset to drive sales and maximize profits while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and use initiative
  • Proficient in IT, with experience in MS Office and industry-standard software such as SAP
  • A valid driving license is essential; a FLT license is advantageous
  • Ability to step in for the Branch Manager when necessary
  • Experience in branch stocktaking is a plus
  • Comfortable working in a small team and independently when required
  • Experience in a similar role within a trade, builders merchant, retail, glazing, or uPVC environment is preferred
