A leading organisation in Norwich is seeking a Quality Engineer to work in their calibration laboratory. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality assurance procedures and adhering to industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience in calibration and be familiar with ISO UKAS and ISO 9001. On-the-job training will be offered, and candidates with a background in electrical/electronics QA are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure compliance with UKAS 17025 and ISO 9001 standards.
  2. Check and issue calibration certificates and results.
  3. Respond to customer quality inquiries with professionalism and expertise.
  4. Authorise, issue, and control of management systems.
  5. Maintain accurate personnel training records.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in quality engineering or a related field.
  2. Knowledge of UKAS 17025 and ISO 9001 standards is preferred.
  3. Strong organisational ability.
  4. Able to work alone or as part of a team.
  5. Attention to detail.
