Property Maintenance Manager Job Description

TXM Recruit is seeking a highly skilled Property Maintenance Manager to join our team in Knightsbridge, London. As a Property Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of ultra-high-end mansions for a private property management solution company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of maintenance staff, including in-house and external contractors, to ensure timely and satisfactory completion of maintenance works.
  • Plan and supervise maintenance works, including preparing reports and quotations.
  • Coordinate property refurbishment and building works, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including raising and approving purchase orders and invoices.
  • Ensure a safe and compliant environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Develop and implement a maintenance strategy to minimize downtime and optimize resource allocation.
  • Assist with team projects and initiatives as required.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in property maintenance management, with a strong background in building maintenance, mechanical systems, and electrical systems.
  • City and Guilds or equivalent mechanical qualifications.
  • Knowledge of building codes, rules, and regulations.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and property maintenance systems.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work unsupervised and prioritize tasks effectively.
