Property Maintenance Manager Job Description

TXM Recruit is seeking a highly skilled Property Maintenance Manager to join our team in Knightsbridge, London. As a Property Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of ultra-high-end mansions for a private property management solution company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of maintenance staff, including in-house and external contractors, to ensure that all maintenance works are completed to a satisfactory standard and within a timely manner.
  • Plan and supervise works, including preparing reports and quotations, to ensure that all maintenance and mechanical works are allocated to team supervisors.
  • Coordinate property refurbishment and building works, including managing suppliers and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement a maintenance strategy to ensure that all properties are well-maintained and that any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Manage health and safety records and ensure that all maintenance staff are aware of and comply with health and safety procedures.
  • Assist with team projects as required and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Proven practical experience and knowledge of building maintenance, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • City and Guilds or equivalent mechanical qualifications.
  • Knowledge of building codes, rules, and regulations.
  • Strong IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Good working knowledge of all aspects of residential property management.
  • Ability to produce written reports, plans, and operational procedures in clear and concise language.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Experience working in luxury private properties.
