About the RoleThis permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours) involves working across Monday to Friday with occasional weekend working but no Bank Holidays. As a specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will provide highly skilled care to adults with dysphagia and/or communication impairment following diagnosis of neurological injury/condition.
You will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and non-verbal communication, and the ability to work autonomously within a specialist clinical area.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Speech and Language Therapy, HCPC registration, and at least two years of post-registration experience in neurological rehabilitation and condition management. You will also possess excellent time management skills, the ability to prioritize own caseload, and experience in supervising students and support staff.
We offer a competitive salary (£35,000 - £55,000 per annum) and a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities, a supportive team environment, and flexible working arrangements.
