Job Title: Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist

Wrightington Wigan & Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced occupational therapist to join their team as a Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in stroke rehabilitation and a proven track record of leading teams. They will be responsible for managing a clinical caseload, completing specialist assessments, treatment sessions, and discharge planning, while also providing clinical leadership and specialist assessment and intervention of acute stroke patients.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective strategies for improving patient outcomes and promoting excellence in occupational therapy practice.
  2. Lead a team of occupational therapists, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high-quality patient care.
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet the needs of patients with complex and chronic conditions.
  4. Educate and train healthcare professionals and students on best practices in occupational therapy and stroke rehabilitation.

Estimated Salary: £49,500 - £58,300 per annum, based on location and industry standards.
