About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Youth Mental Health Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team in Wigan/Bolton. As a key member of our Children's and Young Peoples Eating Disorders Service (CEDs), you will be responsible for providing expert mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions to young people.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with children and young people, and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be actively involved in reviewing and implementing care plans and risk assessments, and will work closely with Paediatrics and core CAMHS in the treatment of eating disorders.

As a specialist in youth mental health, you will have a deep understanding of the complexities of eating disorders and will be able to provide high-quality care to our patients. Requirements

  • Professional registration and core profession

Estimated salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays rising to 29 after 5 years and 33 days after 10 years, an excellent pension scheme, and access to wellbeing programmes.
