About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Theatre Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Spire Healthcare Ltd. As a key member of our theatre team, you will provide high-quality support to our nurses and consultants during procedures, ensuring the smooth delivery of patient care.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist scrub nurses during procedures, providing essential support to ensure the success of operations.
  • Provide patient support within the anaesthetics room, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients.
  • Open sterile packs and check instruments, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
  • Assist with ordering equipment and maintaining quality care delivery, working closely with our theatre team to ensure seamless operations.
  • Contribute to infection control, understanding and adhering to our strict protocols to prevent the spread of infection.

Person Specification

We are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual with experience working in theatres or care settings. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a good level of written English, and a willingness to learn and develop.

Desirable Qualifications

An NVQ Level 2/3 in a relevant field would be advantageous, but not essential.
