We are seeking a skilled Theatre Practitioner to support our Theatre Team at Spire Yale Hospital, providing high-quality care to our patients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will prepare the operating theatre room for surgery, ensuring instrumentation, equipment, and supplies are in place. They will run a theatre list without supervision and supervise/mentor junior staff, developing their knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload
  • Provide patient care, set up for cases, and assist in the day-to-day running of theatres
  • Develop own knowledge and skills, as well as those of others

Requirements

  • NMC Registered Nurse or HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner
  • Proactive and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience within Scrub is essential; General or Orthopaedic is desirable
