About the Job

NIRAS UK is contracted by the UK Government's Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) to manage grant funds. We are seeking a skilled Grant Administrator to support the administration of these funds.

This role involves working with Defra teams to resolve issues related to grant funds and managing financial data. The ideal candidate will have experience working with UK Government departments and possess strong numeracy and literacy skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the administration of grant funds, including processing financial claims and applications.
  • Communicate effectively with Defra teams on grant fund issues.
  • Manage financial data related to projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience of working with UK Government departments.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
