Early Years Assistant, Lunch Cover

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Assistant to join our team at Bright Horizons Saffron Walden Day Nursery and Preschool. This part-time role will involve working lunch hours, Monday to Friday, 10am-2pm (or similar hours).

About the Role

As an Early Years Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years. You will work closely with our experienced team to create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes children's learning and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the nursery team in providing daily care and education to children
  • Assist with planning and implementing activities that promote children's learning and development
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient service
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment for children

Requirements

We are looking for someone with a passion for working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education. Previous experience working with children is ideal, but not essential. You will need to be able to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents, and have a sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
