Early Years Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Assistant to join our team at Bright Horizons Saffron Walden Day Nursery and Preschool.

About the Role

This part-time position involves working lunch hours, Monday to Friday 10am-2pm (or similar hours), supporting our nursery team in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the nursery team to create a safe and engaging environment for children.
  • Develop and implement activities that promote learning and development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and shared understanding of children's needs.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean, organized, and welcoming nursery environment.
  • Support the development of children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills through play-based learning.
