About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons Saffron Walden Day Nursery and Preschool. This part-time position will involve working lunch hours, Monday to Friday, 10am-2pm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement engaging activities for children, tailored to their individual needs and developmental milestones.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety, adhering to safeguarding and legislative requirements.
  • Contribute to a positive and safe environment, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve this goal.
Requirements
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children, ideally in a nursery or similar setting.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and legislative requirements.
