Special Education Needs Teacher

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Supply Teacher to work in SEND schools across Liverpool and Sefton. As a Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a range of educational settings, supporting students with diverse needs such as autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and physical disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEND
- Adapt teaching styles to accommodate different learning abilities
- Support the educational and emotional development of students
- Collaborate with school staff and SENCOs to provide the best learning environment
- Follow school policies and procedures while creating a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND (desirable but not essential)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting SEND students
- A DBS check on the update service or willingness to apply for one
