Job Title: SEN Teacher

About Us: Teaching Personnel is a leading educational staffing agency seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs across schools in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized lessons to students with various learning difficulties and disabilities.
  • Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching strategies to meet each student's needs.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student care.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies as necessary.
  • Foster positive relationships with parents, caregivers, and external professionals, maintaining regular communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in SEN education and implement best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of various SEN conditions and appropriate teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and helping students overcome barriers to learning.
