Tradewind Recruitment is seeking compassionate and experienced Support Workers for SEND Schools across Merseyside. We have a range of opportunities to fit your schedule, whether you're looking for full-time, part-time, or ad-hoc work. You must be flexible and available for morning calls to cover last-minute vacancies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with special educational needs
- Assist in the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
- Support students in their learning and personal development
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff
- Help manage behaviour and provide emotional support to students as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Support Worker (preferably in SEND settings)
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient nature
- Willingness to work flexibly across different SEND schools in Merseyside
- Available for morning calls for same-day assignments
- A passion for supporting children with additional needs
