Supporting Students with Special Educational Needs

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to work as Learning Support Assistants/SEN Teaching Assistants in mainstream secondary schools across Liverpool. As a key member of our team, you will provide tailored support to students with diverse learning needs, including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other SEN.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in the classroom with individual or small group support.
  • Help implement and adapt educational plans to meet students' unique needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Collaborate with teachers and SENCo to monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people, particularly in an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
  • Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to inclusive education.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check is required (training will be provided if necessary).
  • Relevant qualifications or training are a bonus but not essential.
