Support Worker for Adults with Complex Needs

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a skilled and empathetic Support Worker to join our team in Newport.
Job DescriptionThis role involves working with adults with learning disabilities, providing support and care to enable them to lead a more independent life. The service operates within a person-centred approach, focusing on the individual needs and preferences of each resident.
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for assisting residents through a care pathway to help them achieve their goals and aspirations. This may include helping with daily living tasks, providing emotional support, and promoting independence.
A driver's licence is essential for this role, as you will be required to take service users on outings and activities. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months' experience of working within a social care setting and hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
The estimated salary for this role is £23-£25 per hour, depending on experience.
