SEMH Teaching Assistants - £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
About the School:
We are partnering with a Special Educational Needs school in the UK dedicated to supporting pupils aged 11 to 16 with various social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
The school caters to students with diverse special educational needs, including dyslexia, social communication difficulties, ADHD, autism, and Tourette's syndrome. We strive to provide an inclusive environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils with SEMH difficulties in a classroom setting
- Assisting teachers in planning and implementing lesson plans
- Maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment
- Communicating effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders
Requirements:
- A degree in Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience working with children with SEMH difficulties
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
