Job Overview:
National Grid is seeking a highly skilled Regulation Lawyer to join our General Counsel Electricity Transmission (ET) Legal team. As a key member of the team, you will provide legal support on a wide range of regulatory legal matters related to National Grid's operations in the UK. This includes advising on NGET's regulatory framework and licence conditions, reviewing industry code modifications, and drafting briefing notes for internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support regarding NGET's regulatory framework and licence conditions.
- Advise on NGET's regulatory submissions to Ofgem and review industry code modifications.
- Draft briefing notes for internal stakeholders on regulatory legal matters.
- Advise on business separation matters and influence policy developments related to regulatory frameworks.
- Provide guidance on regulatory investigations and appeals, liaising with external legal advisors as necessary.

Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor or barrister with experience in regulatory or competition law.
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in project or relationship management.
