About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our Portering and Post Room Services department at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding customer experience, ensuring that our portering service is efficient and patient-focused.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support, direct, guide, and train staff in the Portering and Post Room Services department.
  • Work alongside staff as a member of the team at operational level, moving patients, samples, and medical records across the Trust in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the portering service.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
