Job Summary

The Peninsula London is seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage Supervisor to oversee the Lobby service and lead a team of F&B Attendants. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless service operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of Lobby service, including food and beverage operations, to ensure high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Lead and motivate a team of F&B Attendants to achieve exceptional service delivery and guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Lobby Director to develop and implement service standards, menus, and promotions.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge, focusing on wine, food, and beverage expertise.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or high-end food and beverage establishment.
  • Excellent knowledge of food and beverage operations, including wine, spirits, and mixology.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, management, and guests.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
