Consultant in Non-Acute Pain and Anaesthesia Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant in Non-Acute Pain and Anaesthesia to join our team at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and service to our patients.
Main Duties
Maintain the highest clinical standards in the management of patients under your care
Participate in the smooth running of Acute and Chronic Pain services in our Trust
Take part in teaching, audit, management, and clinical governance

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have:
MB ChB/BS or EEA equivalent
FRCA or other appropriate equivalent
Eligible for CCT in Anaesthesia
Pain Qualification
Ability to take responsibility, show leadership, make decisions, exert appropriate authority
Experience of working in a team and developing service improvement strategies
Experience of teaching and training undergraduates / postgraduates and junior medical staff
Understanding of principles of clinical audit
Committed to monitoring and improving clinical quality
Committed to building a clinical practice that is evidence based
