Fundraising and Events Support

Est. Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per annum

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to support our Fund Development team in achieving our mission to provide affordable housing solutions for seniors.

About the Role:
  • The ideal candidate will provide administrative support, including data entry, report preparation, and event coordination.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines are required.
  • A creative thinker and problem solver who can work collaboratively as part of our team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide administrative support to the Fund Development team, including data entry, report preparation, and event coordination.
  2. Update and maintain accurate donor records, including biographical data, donor interactions, and activities.
  3. Assist in the scheduling and coordination of meetings across the department.
  4. Conduct preliminary research on prospective corporate, foundation, and individual donors.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required.
  • 6-12 months of related work or volunteer experience in fundraising, special events coordination, writing, general office administration, or database management.
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a good telephone manner.
  • Ability to be patient and polite when dealing with older adults and other constituents.
