Fund Development Coordinator Opportunity

Est. Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per annum

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support our Fund Development team in achieving our mission to provide affordable housing solutions for seniors.

About the Role:
  • The ideal candidate will assist with updating donor records, preparing reports, and coordinating events.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are required.
  • A creative thinker and problem solver who can work collaboratively as part of our team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Update and maintain accurate donor records, including biographical data, donor interactions, and activities.
  2. Assist in the preparation of reports and materials for Fund Development staff, including Fund Development Committee meetings and donor solicitation packages.
  3. Schedule and coordinate meetings across the department.
  4. Conduct research on prospective corporate, foundation, and individual donors.
  5. Assist with event planning, coordination, and execution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required.
  • 6-12 months of related work or volunteer experience in fundraising, special events coordination, writing, general office administration, or database management.
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a good telephone manner.
  • Ability to be patient and polite when dealing with older adults and other constituents.
