Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Family Health Practitioner to join our Emotional Health and Resilience Team. The successful candidate will work closely with children, young people, parents, and families to provide high-quality services and support.

About the Role

The post holder will work as part of the children's community health commissioned service, contributing to the provision of services for children, young people, parents, carers, and families. The role will involve working in partnership with other agencies to meet agreed standards, objectives, and statutory requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality services and support to children, young people, parents, and families.
  • Work in partnership with other agencies to meet agreed standards, objectives, and statutory requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Healthy Child Programme and Best Start In Life priorities.

Requirements

  • NVQ level 3 qualification or equivalent relevant to the role.
  • Hold a valid full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Experience of working with and supporting parents and families.
  • Ability to communicate with a variety of audiences both written and verbally.
  • Ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality.
  • Recent relevant safeguarding experience.
