Level 3 SEMH Support Professional

Teaching Personnel is working with a secondary school in Fulham, London, to find a highly skilled and compassionate Seminal Emotional Wellbeing Specialist. The successful candidate will work closely with students who require additional support due to their emotional difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:- Working one-to-one and in groups with key stage 3 and 4 students
- Providing tailored support to students with severe social, emotional, and mental health needs
- Fostering a positive and uplifting environment that promotes students' self-esteem and confidence
- Collaborating with counsellors, social workers, and occupational therapists to ensure comprehensive student support
- Adhering to a standard full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am
- Graduating with a minimum 2:1 degree from a UK University
- Prior experience supporting vulnerable teenagers or children, preferably those with SEMH needs
- Demonstrating a positive and caring personality
- Exhibiting patience and compassion when interacting with students
This temporary role offers the potential for long-term engagement. A competitive salary of £25,000-£28,000 per annum reflects the importance of this position. Considering the demands of the role, applicants are expected to have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of child-centered approaches, and the ability to form lasting relationships with students and staff.
