Salary: £26,000 - £31,000 per annum

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and organized individual to develop their career in finance. You will work closely with the Finance Officer and Business Manager to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, and reconcile bank statements
  • Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasts
  • Support payroll by verifying timesheets, overtime, and employee financial data
  • Provide administrative support to the Finance Officer and Business Manager, including handling financial documentation and queries
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles, financial transactions, and budgeting
  • Ability to record financial data accurately, reconcile accounts, and ensure error-free transactions
  • Proficiency in financial software, Excel, and management information systems
  • Effective communication skills to handle finance queries and interact with staff, vendors, and stakeholders
