Job Title: Executive Director

ACTORS' CHILDREN'S TRUST is seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Director to lead our team. As the key strategic leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the charity's operations, ensuring its financial stability, and driving its growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the charity's operations, including grant-making, finance, and marketing.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the charity's goals.
  • Manage the charity's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Oversee the charity's marketing and communications efforts, including social media, website, and advertising.
  • Line manage staff and freelancers, ensuring effective team performance and development.
  • Ensure the charity's governance and compliance, including trustee support and safeguarding policies.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in charity leadership, grant-making, and financial management.
  • Strong strategic thinking, planning, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with trustees, staff, and external partners.
  • Knowledge of charity law, governance, and compliance.
