Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at MWH Treatment in Preston. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional Engineering Design services that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Your primary goal will be to minimize risks and maximize profits on turnkey and engineering services contracts. To achieve this, you will coordinate design processes, produce high-quality design documents and drawings, and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, specifications, and standards.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless design coordination across disciplines. Your success will be measured by your ability to deliver projects that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate design processes and produce high-quality design documents and drawings
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, specifications, and standards
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless design coordination

Requirements:

  • Relevant Engineering degree (Master's preferred) or HND with significant experience
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality designs within tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
