Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled Advanced Clinical Nurse Practitioners/Clinical Nurse Specialists with neurology experience to join our team at Medpace. As a key member of our clinical research team, you will work closely with our physicians to support the development of new treatments for patients with neurological diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Disease-Specific Education: Create and deliver clinical education programs for internal teams to enhance their knowledge and skills in neurology.
  • Medical Monitoring and Safety Review: Conduct thorough reviews of study participant clinical safety data, including laboratory results, medications, and medical history, to ensure the safety of our participants.
  • Protocol Review and Risk Assessment: Review assigned protocols for scientific and participant safety matters, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Clinical Expertise and Collaboration: Provide clinical expertise to project teams, attending pre-study and study-related meetings to ensure the successful execution of clinical trials.
  • Study Participant Recruitment and Conduct: Assist the Clinical Operations team with activities related to study participant recruitment, screening, and study conduct.
  • Clinical Input and Business Development: Contribute clinical expertise to business proposals and presentations, helping to secure new business opportunities for Medpace.
Qualifications
  • Education and Registration: Masters or doctorate degree in nursing, with Nursing and Midwifery Council registration and NMC pin number.
  • Experience and Skills: Significant experience as a clinical nurse practitioner or nurse consultant within neurology, with clinical research experience preferred.
  • Autonomous Clinical or Research Work: Evidence of autonomous clinical or research work at a senior level, demonstrating expertise and leadership in neurology.
