About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Research Scientist to join our team. This role will involve collaborating with our physicians and project teams to provide clinical expertise in neurology research studies. As a Senior Clinical Research Scientist, you will be responsible for reviewing study protocols, providing scientific and participant safety input, and attending pre-study and study-related meetings.

Responsibilities
  • Disease-Specific Education: Develop and implement educational programs for internal teams to enhance their knowledge of neurological diseases.
  • Clinical Safety Data Review: Review study participant clinical safety data, including laboratory results, medications, and medical history, as part of the medical monitoring team.
  • Protocol Review: Assess assigned protocols for scientific and participant safety matters and risks.
  • Meeting Participation: Attend pre-study and study-related meetings with project teams, providing clinical expertise.
  • Study Conduct Support: Assist the Clinical Operations team with activities related to study participant recruitment, screening, and study conduct.
  • New Business Activities: Contribute to new business activities by providing clinical input in Medpace's written proposals for conducting client clinical trials.
  • Business Presentations: Serve as a clinical expert in business presentations to new clients.
Qualifications
  • Educational Requirements: Masters or doctorate degree in nursing or equivalent qualifications.
  • Registration and Certification: Nursing and Midwifery Council registration and NMC pin number.
  • Experience: Significant experience as a clinical nurse practitioner or nurse consultant within neurology.
  • Clinical Research Experience: Preferred experience in clinical research.
  • Autonomous Work: Evidence of autonomous clinical or research work at senior level.
