Overview

Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is a leading provider of healthcare services in East London. We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team as a Clinical Specialist in Neurological Rehabilitation. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

As a Clinical Specialist, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients with acquired neurological disorders. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement evidence-based practice, contribute to service development, and participate in research and education activities.

The successful candidate will have a degree-level qualification in SLT recognized by the RCSLT, current HCPC registration, and postgraduate training relevant to working with adults with acquired communication/swallowing difficulties. Experience of caseload management of patients with acquired neurological disorders and participation in videoflurosocpy assessment are essential requirements.

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
