Senior Leadership Role in Residential Childcare

Hargate Healthcare Ltd seeks a highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the position of Deputy Manager of a Childrens Home in Burton on Trent.

This challenging role requires someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and committed to improving outcomes for children and young people.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Registered Manager to develop and implement effective care plans, manage risk assessments, and promote a positive culture within the team.
  • Establish strong relationships with children, staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure seamless support and collaboration.
  • Support the Registered Manager in delivering high standards of care and ensuring the well-being of children residing at the home.
Compensation and Benefits:

The salary for this position is £14.50 per hour plus £60 per sleep night, making it an attractive offer for those passionate about improving outcomes for children.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • NVQ Level 3 qualified in Children and Young People or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within children's residential care.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines governing children's homes.
