About the Role

Kemp Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Service Coordinator to join our dedicated service team. As a Service Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service department, working closely with our field-based engineers and internal departments to deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate a team of field-based engineers, utilizing company technology tools to monitor engineer efficiencies and provide customer satisfaction.
  • Cover during absence/holidays for Service Coordinator colleagues.
  • Take incoming calls from customers and suppliers, providing excellent communication and customer liaison services.
  • Support the Service team in scheduling, booking, and cancellations.
  • Instruct and authorize sub-contractors, such as tyre suppliers and coded welders.
  • Process quotations and estimates, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Monitor and update daily and monthly monitors, including job sheets and timesheets.
  • Ensure a timely and efficient flow of out-work purchase orders and GRNs, logged and forwarded to the Purchase Ledger department.
  • Accurately invoice and collate job sheets to invoices before posting to customers.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a service office environment with mobile engineers.
  • Ability to work to deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal, planning, organizational, motivational skills, and the ability to use your own initiative.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and drive the Service team.
