Clinical Trauma Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Trauma Specialist to join our team at Oxford Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing specialist assessments and interventions for children and young people who have experienced significant trauma.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical, evidence-based care and treatment to children and young people with complex trauma needs.
- Work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists, and Social Workers, to provide comprehensive care and support.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each child or young person.
- Contribute to the development of new services and initiatives, and participate in quality improvement activities to enhance the overall quality of care.
- Registered RMN, OT, Social Worker, or Psychological Therapist with advanced clinical skills and experience in trauma, acute mental health presentations, and risk management.
- Specialist training and experience in delivering evidence-based trauma interventions, such as VIG, EMDR, Psychotherapy, Family Therapy, TF-CBT, NET, MBT, and Specialist Sensory Training.
- Continuing registration with the relevant professional body, such as the NMC, HCPC, or SWE.
- A comprehensive training program, including CAMHS training, to support your professional development and enhance your skills.
