The Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Specialist Child Sexual Abuse Link Practitioner to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide specialist support to professionals, parents, and carers supporting children and young people who have experienced sexual harm.
Main Responsibilities- Provide high-quality specialist support to professionals, parents, and carers supporting children and young people who have experienced sexual harm.
- Provide consultation and support to team members across Children's Social Care, and Wiltshire and Swindon CAMHS who deliver assessments, care, and interventions to children and young people who have experienced sexual harm.
- Develop and deliver training to a range of staff in Children's social care and BSW CAMHS colleagues on child sexual abuse and related topics.
- Attend strategy and multi-agency meetings for young people identified as open to the BSW In-Reach team to contribute to the multi-agency planning and response.
- Work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the development of this service as appropriate.
- Registered RMN, OT, Social Worker, or Psychological Therapist.
- Additional training in a NICE-informed evidence base for sexual trauma (e.g., EDMR, trauma-focused CBT training, NET, psychotherapy).
- Experience of working with young people who are known to Children's Social Care and present with complex needs.
- Experience of working with the Mental Health Act and robust knowledge of the Children's Act.
- Evidence of contribution to policy, protocols, and patient care pathway development.
- Evidence of involvement in strategic-level decision-making.
- Formal leadership skills and experience.
