About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist to join our team as a Child Sexual Abuse Link Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide specialist support to professionals, parents, and carers working with children and young people who have experienced sexual harm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality specialist support to professionals, parents, and carers working with children and young people who have experienced sexual harm.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from Children's Social Care and CAMHS to develop excellent working relationships and ensure the needs of these children and young people are met in the most appropriate way.
  • Deliver training to a range of staff in Children's Social Care and CAMHS colleagues on specialized therapies and best practices for working with children and young people who have experienced sexual harm.
  • Attend strategy and multi-agency meetings to contribute to the multi-agency planning and response for young people identified as open to the BSW In-Reach team.
