Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £24,433 - £26,060 per annum, paid bi-weekly

About the Role:

This experienced Theatre Assistant will provide critical support to the Theatre team by assisting with activities undertaken in the Operating Theatre environment. Key responsibilities include preparing the theatre for procedures, collecting and opening instrument trays, participating in swab, sharps, and instrument counts, and assisting scrub practitioners with specimen handling and dispatch.

Requirements:

  • Relevant diploma in Peri-operative care or equivalent qualification
  • Evidence of undertaking extended skills training or roles such as trainer for BLS, Manual Handling, Fire Warden
