About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Capacity Planning Manager to join our Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) team in the EU Middle Mile transportation network. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting Network Capacity Management (NCM) in capacity planning functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement short- and medium-term operational capacity plans to optimize cost and service associated with staffing.
  • Analyze planning gaps and deviations, and translate them into actionable items to improve future plans.
  • Interact with business teams to validate and challenge inputs variables using a data-driven approach.
  • Focus on controllership, driving continuous improvement and standardization of processes, including implementation of planning best practices and automation initiatives.
  • Communicate complex analysis, insights, and results to senior leadership to influence and support tactical and strategic business decisions.
  • Work with a variety of data sources, identify incomplete or inaccurate data, and escalate discrepancies to drive corrective actions.

Requirements
  • A degree in business, supply chain, transportation, economics, or a technical field.
  • Relevant experience working in a supply chain, transportation, project management, or management consulting role.
  • Relevant experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
  • Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in process improvement.
  • Operational background.
  • Understanding of SQL.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight.
