Primary School Learning Support Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Woolwich. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with learning difficulties or disabilities, working closely with experienced teachers and professionals.

About the Role:

  • Work with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, supporting them to access the curriculum
  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of all students
  • Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to teachers and parents
  • Provide emotional support and pastoral care to students as required
  • Contribute to administrative tasks such as record keeping and resource preparation

Key Requirements:

  • Hold a 2:1 or higher degree from a reputable university
  • Have experience working with students with SEN/SEMH/SEND
  • Be a team player, committed to providing high-quality education and support to students
  • Be flexible, organised, and reliable, with a can-do attitude

Annual Salary: £27,500 - £35,000
