Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Head of Landscape Maintenance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of landscape maintenance technicians and trainees, ensuring that our green spaces are maintained and presented to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of landscape maintenance technicians and trainees, providing guidance and support to ensure they are highly motivated and working efficiently.
  • Ensure the green estate is maintained and presented to a high standard, adhering to our high standards of quality and safety.
  • Support the team in promoting the values and culture of the organisation, ensuring that our team members are aligned with our mission and vision.
Requirements
  • A full driving licence is required.
  • Experience of landscape maintenance and horticulture, with a strong understanding of tree work and silvicultural practices.
  • NPTC Level 2 Certificate of competence in Chainsaw Maintenance, Cross-cutting, Felling and Processing Trees up to 380mm.
  • NPTC Level 2 (PA1/PA6) Safe use and application of pesticides by handheld equipment.
