About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Head of Landscape Maintenance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the green estate is maintained and presented to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Line-manage a team of Landscape Maintenance (LM) Technicians and Trainees, demonstrating excellent leadership skills and ensuring they are highly motivated and professional.
  • Help ensure the green estate is maintained and presented to a high standard, adhering to our high standards of quality and safety.
  • Support the team in promoting the values and culture of the organisation, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • A full driving licence is required for this role.
  • Experience of landscape maintenance and horticulture, with a strong understanding of tree work and silvicultural practices.
  • Experience of carrying out landscape maintenance to a high standard, with a focus on quality and safety.
  • NPTC Level 2 Certificate of competence in Chainsaw Maintenance, Cross-cutting, Felling and Processing Trees up to 380mm.
  • NPTC Level 2 (PA1/PA6) Safe use and application of pesticides by handheld equipment.
  • Prepared and motivated to take on further training to enhance individual skills and knowledge.
