About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Head of Maintenance Management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the green estate is maintained and presented to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Line-manage a team of Landscape Maintenance (LM) Technicians and Trainees, demonstrating excellent leadership skills and ensuring they are highly motivated and professional.
  2. Help ensure the green estate is maintained and presented to a high standard.
  3. Support the team in promoting the values and culture of the organisation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A full driving licence.
  2. Experience of landscape maintenance and horticulture.
  3. Experience of carrying out landscape maintenance to a high standard.
  4. NPTC Level 2 Certificate of competence in Chainsaw Maintenance, Cross-cutting, Felling and Processing Trees up to 380mm.
  5. NPTC Level 2 (PA1/PA6) Safe use and application of pesticides by handheld equipment.
  6. Be prepared and motivated to take on further training to enhance your individual skill levels.
Desirable Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  1. Qualification in land management (e.g. horticulture, landscape maintenance).
  2. Experience and understanding of tree work and silvicultural practices.
  3. Experience of using Microsoft 365.
